About Deven Meininger

I understand that buying or selling a home can be one of the most important and exciting decisions you'll make, and I will spend time at the beginning of the process to thoroughly understand your needs and wishes. I am knowledgeable and passionate about Durango and La Plata County real estate, and as your Broker, you'll experience honest communication, integrity, and respect, along with many years of marketing experience. I will work diligently on your behalf to ensure a smooth and efficient transaction, with a little fun along the way!

I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Corporate Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations from Santa Clara University, and a Master's Degree in Special Education from the University of Arizona. I am very involved in the Durango Area Association of REALTORS®, currently serving as the 2023 President and previously as Treasurer and Director. In 2023, I graduated from the Colorado Association of REALTORS® Leadership Academy, and in 2021, I was honored with the DAAR REALTOR® of the Year award and the DAAR Distinguished Service Award. I also received the Wells Group Excellence Award in 2019 and was named the Wells Group Rookie of the Year in 2015. Continuing education is important to me, and I have earned the National Association of REALTORS® Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), and Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS) designations.

Jason and I set our sights on living in Durango shortly after we were married, knowing we wanted to raise our family in this wonderful mountain community. We enjoy camping, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, skiing, and cheering at our kids’ sporting events! I have participated in full and half marathons and shifted my focus to trail running, taking advantage of the amazing trails in La Plata County. We love fostering dogs from Parker's Animal Rescue and have adopted one adorable dog, Luna, into our home.
